Red Wings recall eight from Grand Rapids
Following their preseason contest with the Toronto Maple Leafs, the Red Wings announced that they have recalled eight players from Grand Rapids. The club recalled Mitch Callahan, Calle Jarnkrok, Teemu Pulkkinen, Riley Sheahan, Ryan Sproul and goaltender Jared Coreau from their AHL affiliate.
