The 2019 NHL All-Star Game is set for January 26 in San Jose.
On Saturday, the NHL opened the polls for its annual All-Star Game Fan Vote, which allows fans to determine the captains for each of the four divisional teams. The game will once again be a 3-on-3 tournament pitting each division’s best against the other divisions.
Dylan Larkin, Mike Green, Jimmy Howard and Thomas Vanek represent the Red Wings in the poll this year.
Larkin leads the Red Wings this season with 21 points (9 goals, 12 assists), while Green has posted a pair of goals and 11 helpers on the year. In limited time, Vanek has posted nine points for Detroit. Howard has an impressive .922 save percentage on the season to go along with his eight wins and 2.7o goals-against average.
Aside from Larkin, Anaheim’s Cam Fowler (Farmington Hills) and Winnipeg’s Connor Hellebuyck (Commerce Township) are the other Michigan natives on the ballots.
Fans can vote until Dec. 23 at NHL.com/vote.
