PHOTOS: Spartans and Wolverines tie in rematch; MSU wins shootout

If you’re a Wolverines fan, Saturday night at Yost Ice Arena ended in a tie. If you’re a Spartans fan, Saturday night ended with a win. In the NCAA record book, the two hated rivals played to a 1-1 tie, with Michigan’s Nick Boka and Michigan State’s Taro Hirose taking care of the scoring. The ensuing shootout, however, went to Michigan State; Brennan Sanford’s decisive shootout goal gave the Spartans the extra point in the standings.
