One Red Wings road trip may be more appealing than the rest for the Red Wings starting during the 2017-18 season.
In the same year that fans get a new arena in Detroit, they will also have the opportunity to attend an NHL game in Las Vegas, according to a report from the Associated Press.
Said report indicates that the NHL will officially be expanding to Las Vegas in time for puck drop on the ’17-18 season – provided that the Vegas ownership group can provide the $500 million required for entry into the league.
