The Detroit Red Wings have announced another signing, this time bringing back one of their goaltenders.
The club has announced a new one-year contract for Jared Coreau, who split time between the Grand Rapids Griffins (AHL) and Toledo Walleye (ECHL) last season.
Coreau, a product of Northern Michigan University, signed with the Wings after his junior season. Last year – his second as a professional netminder – Coreau recorded a 2.20 goals-against average and .927 save percentage with a 16-8-1 record for the Griffins.
