In what has become a yearly tradition, TSN is asking hockey fans to pick the play of the year via an online vote.
What gets awkward for Red Wings fans this year is that they have to pick between two of their own players.
Tomas Tatar is going head-to-head with Gustav Nyquist for the TSN play of the year crown, and there’s just under three days left to vote between the two.
The plays of the year still left standing in the voting process are Tatar’s ‘split-the-D-and-watch-them-crash-into-each-other’ goal against the Stars and Nyquist’s ‘spin-around-and-score-from-behind-the-goal-line-after-dragging-a-guy-through-the-zone’ goal.
Hey, they’re hard to describe. You should just watch them below.
And…
You can vote for your favorite by visiting the TSN site here. Right now, Tatar’s holding quite the lead.
