The Detroit Red Wings alumni team traveled to East Lansing to take on a team made of Michigan State alumni in a charity game organized by Kevin Miller.
The game, which saw the Spartan alums pick up a 6-5 win over the Red Wings, raised money for the Wounded Warrior Project, United Way 2-1-1 and The Steadfast Foundation. An estimated 4,000 people attended the 5 p.m. game.
Along with the game, rising figure skating star Hannah Miller performed during intermission. The 10U Lansing Spartans girls’ team also skated at intermission.
