It was a big weekend for the Wolverines to go 1-0-1 against No. 6/5 Ohio State.
And freshman forward Nolan Moyle played a key role in both results, as Michigan won Friday’s game, 4-2, before earning a tie on Saturday.
A Briarcliff Manor, N.Y. native, Moyle lit the lamp twice on Friday, which included the game-winning marker. On Saturday, with his team down a goal halfway through the third period, Moyle delivered again with a game-tying goal that sent the Wolverines and Buckeyes to overtime.
This marks the first career Big Ten weekly award for Moyle.
