Another Red Wings preseason game, another win.
Detroit played its third consecutive home game in the 2018-19 preseason Saturday night, and the team recorded its third straight victory.
Evgeny Svechnikov recorded his second-straight game-winning goal, this time in overtime, as the Wings topped the Boston Bruins 4-3 at Little Caesars Arena.
Filip Zadina scored his first goal in a Red Wings uniform, while defensemen Dennis Cholowski and Vili Saarijarvi both scored, as well.

Jimmy Howard stopped 23 of the 26 shots sent his way; he played the full 60 minutes-plus for the first full game of the preseason by a Red Wings netminder.
The Wings now head out for a road trip; Detroit plays at Pittsburgh on Sunday, at Chicago on Tuesday, at Boston on Wednesday and at Toronto on Friday.
They conclude their 2018-19 preseason by hosting the Maple Leafs next Saturday at Little Caesars Arena.
