Sunday marked the annual Red and White Game for the Detroit Red Wings, as the team took part in an intersquad scrimmage in front of a packed crowd at Centre Ice Arena in Traverse City. Team Red prevailed 4-2 over Team White, with Evgeny Svechnikov, Christoffer Ehn, Andreas Athanasiou and Filip Zadina finding the back of the net for the victorious squad. Darren Helm scored both the goals for Team White, which had an early 2-0 lead and led the final shot count by a 32-24 margin. Check out MiHockey’s photos from the game below, as well as postgame interviews with Helm, Svechnikov, Zadina and coach Jeff Blashill and some video highlights.
