Blade Jenkins is heading north.
The Jackson native will be signing with the Saginaw Spirit, the OHL franchise that drafted him No. 4 overall in the 2016 OHL Draft.
Jenkins, a product of the Compuware hockey program, spent the 2016-17 season with USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program Under-17 Team.
He was also verbally committed to the University of Michigan.
