The Red Wings announced a pair of roster moves Wednesday afternoon.
Winger Tyler Bertuzzi and defenseman Brian Lashoff have been sent to Grand Rapids.
Bertuzzi had been out recovering from a high left ankle sprain. He will work back into game form in Grand Rapids while trying to earn back a roster spot in Detroit. Bertuzzi, 21, was held pointless in seven games in a checking role.
Lashoff, 26, skated in five games for Detroit with Brendan Smith sidelined due to injury.
