The 2017 NHL All-Star Game is set for Sunday, Jan. 29, and once again fans can choose the captains for each of the four divisional teams.
Starting at 2 p.m. on Thursday, fans can visit NHL.com/vote or use the NHL mobile app to choose four players – one from each division without regard to position – to send to Los Angeles for the All-Star Weekend festivities. The top vote-getters from each division will be named captains of their respective teams.
As it was introduced the previous year, the 2017 mid-season event will once again feature the four divisional teams competing in a three-game, 3-on-3 tournament.
Fans can vote up to 10 times per 24 hours. The leaderboard will be updated every Tuesday on the voting page until voting concludes at 11:59 p.m. ET on Monday, Jan. 2.
As a rookie, Dylan Larkin was the Red Wings’ lone participant last season and set a new record in the Fastest Skater event during the NHL Skills Competition.
The four Red Wings eligible for captaincy are Larkin, Mike Green, Tomas Vanek and Detroit captain Henrik Zetterberg.

- Max Pacioretty (University of Michigan alum)
- Brandon Saad (Saginaw Spirit alum)
- Mike Cammalleri (University of Michigan alum)
- Andy Greene (Trenton native)
- Duncan Keith (Michigan State alum)
- Tyler Seguin (Plymouth Whalers alum)
- Cam Fowler (Farmington native)
- Ryan Kesler (Livonia native)
- Alec Martinez (Rochester native)
