USA Hockey announced their roster for the 2014 World Under-17 Challenge today, and four Michigan names were on the list.
The team, comprised of players from the NTDP Under-17 team, will compete in the 2014 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge Dec. 28, 2013 – Jan. 4, 2014, in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.
Plymouth native Nick Boka and Grosse Pointe native Zach Werenski will be on Team USA’s blue line for the tournament. Meanwhile, Troy native Dennis Yan and Carleton native Brendan Warren will be two of the forwards making the trip to Nova Scotia.
