The Detroit Red Wings announced their local TV and radio schedules today in conjunction with their broadcast partners Fox Sports Detroit and CBS Radio.
Eleven Red Wings games hold exclusive national broadcast rights for NBC or NBCSN, while the other 71 will be Fox Sports Detroit broadcasts. Twelve of the 71 FSD broadcasts will be shown on Fox Sports Detroit Plus.
“We can’t wait for this new season in the Eastern Conference to get started,” said Greg Hammaren, Senior Vice President/General Manager of FOX Sports Detroit, in a press release. “Fans are going to love the new mix of great opponents and earlier start times. Our commitment and passion for the Wings is greater than ever and can’t wait to share some of the best coverage in the NHL with the fans.”

Fox Sports Detroit will carry three preseason games – Sept. 19 at Boston, Sept. 22 vs. Chicago and Sept. 25 vs. Pittsburgh.
Ken Daniels and Mickey Redmond return for the TV broadcasts, while Ken Kal and Paul Woods will once again handle the radio broadcasts.
