Metro Jets win NA3HL league title

Congrats to the Metro Jets, the 2018 NA3HL league champs.

The Jets – coached and managed by Justin Quenneville – won the Fraser Cup Saturday evening in an overtime thriller against the St. Louis Jr. Blues.

Southgate native Jhuwon Davis broke a 2-2 tie to give his Jets the title – the team’s first since 2002.

Congrats to the Jets boys – all but two of the players on the roster are homegrown Michigan products. Macomb native Connor Inger led the team in scoring with seven points in the 2018 Fraser Cup, six points in the NA3HL playoffs and a dominating 93 points in 43 games during the regular season. He was named MVP of the tournament.
