ST. PAUL, Minn. – Just before the Hobey Baker announcement Friday evening, the American Hockey Coaches Association announced its list of All-Americans.
Congrats to Michigan scoring leader Cooper Marody, the lone Michigan native to receive the prestigious recognition. A junior forward from Brighton, Marody was named to the All-American second team list after posting 50 points in 39 games.
Northern Michigan’s Philip Beaulieu was honored, as well – both he and Marody were named second-team selections.
Beaulieu, a sophomore defenseman from Duluth, posted 42 points in 43 games.
