The Sarnia Sting have added a Michigan State defenseman to their roster.
Mitch Eliot, who was in the midst of his second season with the Spartans, has left East Lansing to join the OHL franchise.
A Grosse Pointe native, ELiot is a Honeybaked and Muskegon Lumberjacks alum. He had recorded five points and 16 penalty minutes in 26 games for the Spartans this past season.
