Max Jones and Team USA didn’t waste any time filling up the scoresheets at the 2018 World Junior Championship in Buffalo.
Jones, a Rochester native and London Knights forward, scored 2:27 into the host country’s first game, putting the U.S. on track for a resounding 9-0 victory over Denmark Tuesday night.
Fifteen different players registered points for the defending champions; Kieffer Bellows and Casey Middelstadt led the scoring charge for Team USA with two goals apiece.
NTDP alum Joseph Woll was a perfect 17-for-17 between the pipes for the American squad.
