Another former high school hockey standout has punched his ticket to D1 college hockey.
Jack Clement, a former captain of Brother Rice, has verbally committed to Nebraska Omaha.
“At the end of the day I felt Omaha was the right fit for me,” Clement told MiHockey. “I was able to develop a great relationship with the coaching staff going back to when I played for Brother Rice. College hockey is something that has always been a goal of mine. To get the opportunity to play at an incredible program like UNO is something I couldn’t pass up.”
The former captain of the Warriors was a first-team all-state selection after leading Brother Rice to a state title last spring. This season, he is skating for the Shreveport Mudbugs of the NAHL; he has eight points in 12 games.
