A pair of Muskegon Lumberjacks players snatched up weekly USHL honors.
Brighton native Collin Adams was named co-forward of the week after posting two goals and two assists in three games this past week.
Adams’ 38 points – 19 goals, 19 assists – put him one point behind Dubuque’s Zach Solow for the league lead in points as of Jan. 23.
Meanwhile, Keith Petruzzelli was rock solid between the pipes in his only start this past week.
The Wilbraham, MA native stopped all 20 shots he faced in regulation and overtime also and nine of ten in the shootout to shut out Green Bay at home on Saturday. Petruzzelli improved his season numbers, as he now carries a 12-7-0 record, 2.55 goals-against average and .911 save percentage.
