St. John’s, Mich., native Kieran Durgan had a big weekend for his NAHL club, and the league took notice.
Durgan, 19, posted two goals and four assists for six total points in three games with his Shreveport Mudbugs, and he was named South Division Star of the Week for his efforts.
The Lansing Capitals product has 28 points in 34 games this season.
“Kieran has been a very reliable three zone player for us all season,” said Mudbugs head coach Karlis Zirnis in a release. “He has also brought experience, presence and great leadership to our dressing room. He continues to work for his offense and it is nice to see him get rewarded.”
