Neither team has said anything publicly just yet, but according to a Facebook post, the Flint Firebirds’ crease just got a little less crowded.
Firebirds goaltender Zack Bowman has posted on his Facebook page that he has been traded to the Sudbury Wolves.
Bowman, 18, currently holds a 2-3-1 record with a .906 save percentage and 2.98 goals-against average in six appearances this season.
With the return of Alex Nedeljkovic from an injury, however, the Firebirds have three capable goaltenders between the pipes. The Firebirds added Kyle Keyser to their roster over the summer, as well, which means they have been carrying three netminders since Nedeljkovic returned to action on Oct. 10.
According to the Sudbury Star, the Wolves will be giving the Firebirds a fourth-round pick in the deal, which is still waiting for league approval.
