The Muskegon Lumberjacks are a few months away from starting the 2014-15 season, but it’s not too early to start working on the calendar.
The USHL program announced their regular-season schedule today, which features a 60-game slate for the ‘Jacks. Muskegon kicks things off on Friday, Sept. 26 in Ann Arbor against the U.S. NTDP Under-17 Team.
Their home opener is the next night, when they welcome the newly-formed Madison Capitols to L.C. Walker Arena.
The Lumberjacks take on their in-state NTDP rivals eight times throughout the season. The majority of Muskegon’s home contests come in December and January, with two season-long six-game homestands from Dec. 5 through Dec. 27 and Jan. 19 through Feb. 6.
