Welcome to MiHockey’s new feature ‘The Shift’ – hockey questions for hockey players. In each ‘The Shift’ feature, we take you through the mindset of today’s hockey player through a question-and-answer session, profiling players from the NHL all the way down to youth travel hockey.
Our next featured player is Chad McDonald, a soon-to-be sophomore forward for the Ferris State Bulldogs. McDonald, a Battle Creek native, is an alum of the USHL’s Muskegon Lumberjacks. In his first season with the Bulldogs, McDonald racked up nine goals and 11 assists for 20 points in 40 games, along with a +8 rating.
