TSN released their final draft prospect rankings today, projecting the top 60 players available for the 2014 NHL Draft.
Waterford native Dylan Larkin, a product of the U.S. National Team Development Program, was the lone Michigan player on the list. The UM commit checked in at No. 12, which is higher than other draft projections.
Meanwhile, two Plymouth Whalers join Larkin on the list. Goaltender Alex Nedeljkovic, a Parma, Ohio, native who played for Belle Tire before advancing to juniors, was rated at No. 42, while defenseman Alex Peters checked in at No. 54.
MiHockey will be posting more draft information throughout the week as we prepare for the 2014 NHL Draft in Philadelphia.

Craig Button’s comments: “Has ability to play the game at a very high pace, temp and intensity. Combine that with very good hockey sense and his impact becomes significant. Wants to make a difference in game and finds ways. Ultra competitive.”
No. 42 – Alex Nedeljkovic
Parma, Ohio
Plymouth Whalers (OHL)
Craig Button’s comments: “Size becomes a focus for evaluating goalies but can be overestimated. Alex plays big, literally and figuratively, has a calm and poise combined with excellent lateral mobility and excellent sense and feel for the challenges coming his way.”
No. 54 – Alex Peters
Blyth, Ont.
Plymouth Whalers (OHL)
Craig Button’s comments: Big, good mobility, reads plays well and can defend with authority. Hard to break down and opponents have to really work to gain an advantage on him. Good poise with puck and an effective passer. Doesn’t panic under pressure.
