USA Hockey announces 2014 Men’s National Under-18 Team (with five Michigan names)

USA Hockey announced today their 22-man roster for the U.S. Men’s National Under-18 Team, and they’ve added Michigan connections to the largely-NTDP roster.

Shelby Township native Kyle Connor and Plymouth Whalers goaltender Alex Nedeljkovic will join 20 NTDP players at the 2014 International Ice Hockey Federation Men’s Under-18 World Championship from April 17-27 in Lappeenranta, Finland.

Connor joins Michigan natives Dylan Larkin (Waterford) and Dylan Pavelek (Marysville) on the roster. Meanwhile, Nedeljkovic will share time between the pipes with MSU commit Ed Minney.

Michigan names on the national team roster:

Ed Minney – goaltender – Wind Gap, Pa. – Michigan State commit

Alex Nedeljkovic – goaltender – Parma, Ohio – Plymouth Whalers goaltender

Kyle Connor – forward – Shelby Township – Michigan commit

Dylan Larkin – forward – Waterford – Michigan commit

Dylan Pavelek – forward – Marysville – Michigan State commit
