The Muskegon Lumberjacks announced today that they have acquired forward Connor Wood from the Michigan State Spartans.
Wood, a redshirt freshman with the Spartans, will make his Lumberjacks debut this weekend when the club takes on the Indiana Ice and Chicago Steel.
The Bloomfield Hills native was a fourth-round pick of the Des Moines Buccaneers during the 2010 USHL Futures Draft, but only played one game with the Buccaneers during the 2010-11 season.
Prior to joining the Spartans, Wood played for the Honeybaked Under-18 Team, recording 57 points in 61 games.
