Andie Anastos isn’t having any problems adjusting to college hockey.

The Farmington Hills native was named Hockey East’s Pro Ambitions Rookie of the Month on Wednesday after a stellar month of November.

Anastos, daughter of Michigan State coach Tom Anastos, recorded 10 points and a +5 rating over 10 games last month. The Honeybaked product had three different multi-point games, while blocking 11 shots at the same time. She leads all freshmen in WHEA with 0.94 points-per-game.

It’s the second time in as many months that Anastos received the award; she was named rookie of the month for October, as well.

Anastos has eight goals and eight assists for 16 points in 17 games. The Eagles are currently 12-4-1, and 7-1-0 in conference play.
