Shaved Ice – June 26

Both the Red Wings and Griffins are getting us fired up for 2013-14.

The Red Wings announced their pre-season schedule for the 2013-14 season today (something we didn’t get to see last year due to the lockout). Detroit starts the pre-season in Pittsburgh, and has home games against the Penguins, Blackhawks, Bruins and Leafs. Click here to see the details.

Meanwhile, the Griffins have announced significant parts of their 2013-14 regular-season schedule. The AHL champs will raise a banner before their home opener on Oct. 18. Plus, they are part of that big outdoor hockey thing everybody keeps talking about, and they will still play on New Year’s Eve at Van Andel. Check it all out right here.
