The Central Collegiate Hockey Association announced their players of the week today, and a Wildcat and a Bulldog were recognized for their outstanding performances from the last weekend. Northern Michigan’s CJ Ludwig was named defenseman of the week, while Ferris State’s CJ Motte (a St. Clair native) was named goaltender of the week.

Postgame® Offensive Player of the Week
Jarret Granberg, UA
Sr., F (Foremost, AB)
Granberg scored twice, including the game winner, added an assist and was the Perani Cup first star in a 5-4 win at Notre Dame on Friday. He had two assists in a 2-1 win over the Irish on Saturday.

Gladiator® Defenseman of the Week
CJ Ludwig, NMU
Jr. (Little Elm, TX)
Ludwig assisted on the game-winning goal in a 4-2 win over Ohio State on Friday and scored the game winner in a 2-1 victory on Saturday to complete a sweep of the Buckeyes. He also had three blocks and finished +2 on the weekend.

Warrior® Goaltender of the Week
CJ Motte, FSU
So. (St. Clair, MI)
Mott stopped 27 shots and was the Perani Cup third star in a 2-1 win at Michigan State on Friday and made 17 saves in a 5-2 victory on Saturday to complete a sweep of the Spartans.
Gongshow® Rookie of the Week
Tyler Morley, UA
F (Burnaby, BC)
Morley had two assists, including one on the game winner, in a 5-4 victory at Notre Dame on Friday. He scored the game-winning goal and was the Perani Cup first star in a 2-1 win on Saturday to complete a sweep of the Irish.
