USA Hockey has announced the 27 goaltenders who have received invitations to the prestigious Warren Strelow National Team Goaltending Camp, which will take place in Plymouth from Aug. 14-17.
The 11th annual Strelow Camp – named after the man who served as the goalie coach for the 1980 U.S. Olympic Men’s Ice Hockey Team – will feature many of the top U.S. goaltenders eligible for international competitions.
The camp will be led by NTDP goaltending coach Thomas Speer, ADM goaltending manager Phil Osaer (Livonia) and regional scouts Brennan Poderzay and Jared Waimon. Other staff members include MSU assistant coach Joe Exter, NTDP director of player personnel Kevin Reiter, Detroit Red Wings goaltending coach Jeff Salajko, former MSU coach and Winnipeg Jets scout Brian Renfrew and Canton native Zach Cisek (Notre Dame).
