The Red Wings are certainly shaking things up, with a big name being sent in the final minutes of the 2018 NHL trade deadline.
Tomas Tatar has been traded to the Las Vegas Golden Knights in exchange for a 2018 first-round draft pick, a 2019 second-round pick and a 2021 third-round pick.
Tatar, 27, has spent his entire NHL career with the Red Wings. A 2009 second-round pick, Tatar has played in 407 games with Detroit, with 222 total points to his name.

Tatar was in the midst of his fifth full NHL season after three seasons with the Grand Rapids Griffins.
