Sounds like there will be a Tyler Motte and Zach Werenski reunion in Columbus.
Per multiple reports, Motte – a St. Clair native, NTDP alum and University of Michigan product – is part of a blockbuster trade with the Chicago Blackhawks and Columbus Blue Jackets.
Motte, who was teammates with Werenski for two seasons in Ann Arbor, is heading to the Blue Jackets along with Artemi Panarin and a draft pick in exchange for NTDP alum and Saginaw Spirit product Brandon Saad, goaltender Anton Forsberg and a draft pick.
So full deal: Panarin, Motte and 6th Rd pick this year to Columbus for Saad, Forsberg and 5th Rd pick 2018
