The Flint Firebirds made it official today – the OHL franchise has signed Marcus Gretz.
The Macomb native and Belle Tire blueliner was a second-round pick by the Firebirds in the 2017 OHL Priority Selection in April.
“Flint has what it takes to get players to the next level, I trust everybody in the organization and believe this is the best path to get to the NHL, which is the ultimate goal,” Gretz said in a team release.

He’s also a product of the Total Package Hockey Center of Excellence.
