The annual Warren Strelow National Team Goaltending Camp is set to begin Thursday, and six Michigan names will be attending the prestigious four-day camp at USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth.
The camp, named after former NHL and 1980 Olympic goalie coach Warren Strelow, brings together many of the top U.S. goaltenders eligible for international play within specific age groups.
The camp will be led by Kevin Reiter (U.S. National Team goaltending coach). Some guest instructors include former NHL goaltenders Scott Clemmensen, Chris Terreri and John Vanbiesbrouck, and Detroit Red Wings goaltending coach Jeff Salajko will also be on-hand. Detroit Catholic Central alum, Canton native and current Miami University of Ohio volunteer coach Zack Cisek will serve as camp video coordinator.
