The Detroit Red Wings announced today that they have signed one of their newest prospects to an entry-level contract.
The Original Six franchise has inked Givani Smith, a Red Wings second-round pick last summer, to a three-year, entry-level contract.
Smith, a forward with the Guelph Storm of the OHL, has five points in seven games so far this season.
