Firebirds win inaugural I-75 Divide Cup series with OT victory over Saginaw

The new I-75 Divide Cup will be staying in Flint this summer.

With a 6-5 overtime victory over in-state rival Saginaw, the Flint Firebirds won the inaugural I-75 Divide Cup series.

Mathieu Henderson scored the game-winning goal 37 seconds into overtime to give the Firebirds their 19th win of the season and fifth over the Spirit.
