March 8 marked the first of two days for the MHSAA state quarterfinals in the boys’ high school hockey playoffs.
Four teams – all Division 2 – punched their tickets to USA Hockey Arena for the state semifinals, while four teams saw their seasons come to a close.
Meanwhile, 16 teams from Divisions 1 and 3 have their shot to extend their seasons tonight, as the remaining state quarterfinals conclude in games across the state.
