As USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program continues to settle into their new home in Plymouth, more major events are set to take place at USA Hockey Arena.

Tomorrow, USA Hockey will hold a press conference at its new ice arena in Michigan. It is expected that USAH will announce that USA Hockey Arena will be host of the 2017 Women’s World Championship, along with the U.S. World Junior evaluation camp this summer.

The 2017 IIHF Women’s World Championship will run at the same time that the USA Hockey girls’ national tournaments will be held in Metro Detroit. The Onyx Ice Arena in Rochester and Suburban Ice Macomb will be hosting the Girls’ Tier I national tournaments, while the Troy Sports Center will be hosting the Tier II tournaments.

The World Junior camp has been traditionally held in Lake Placid.
