On Thursday night, fans can go behind the scenes of the 2016 USHL/NHL Top Prospects Game, which took place in Omaha, Neb. earlier in the month.

“Spotlight USHL/NHL Top Prospects Game” will debut on the NHL Network at 8:30 p.m. ET Thursday night, providing an all-access look into the game that was, as well as into overall life in the USHL.

“This year’s show is a big step up in terms of production, story-telling and the high level of quality people are beginning to expect from our league,” USHL President and Commissioner Bob Fallen said in a release. “Any hockey fan who doesn’t quite know what the USHL is and what our mission is will come away with a new level of respect for our league.”

There are plenty of Michigan names that competed in the game, too.

Mitch Eliot – Grosse Pointe native – Michigan State commit, Muskegon Lumberjacks

Derek Daschke – Troy native – Western Michigan commit, Muskegon Lumberjacks

Wade Allison (Team West MVP) – Western Michigan commit

Collin Peters – Northern Michigan commit

Rem Pitlick – Muskegon Lumberjacks
