The force is strong with the NTDP.
For the fifth straight season, USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program will be hosting their annual ‘Star Wars Night’ – featuring custom jerseys and visits from characters who hail from a galaxy far, far away.
Most important, of course, is that the team auctions off the jerseys to raise money for C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital in Ann Arbor. Bidding for the jerseys will run from Feb. 4-5 on the NHL Auctions page.
“Fundraising efforts like Star Wars Night help our Child & Family Life team at C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital provide important programs for children and their families,” said Mott community relations coordinator Byron Myer. “We are grateful for USA Hockey’s continued support of Mott.”
Last year, the team raised more than $4,500 with the jersey auction.
The NTDP Under-18 Team will be taking on the Green Bay Gamblers at USA Hockey Arena, with puck drop scheduled for 7 p.m.
