The Detroit Red Wings officially announced their local and national broadcast schedule today, and there won’t be any shortage of hockey TV for the Hockeytown faithful.
Fox Sports Detroit will broadcast a total of 73 games (preseason and regular season) in 2015-16 – 61 of which will be on Fox Sports Detroit and 12 on Fox Sports Plus.
Fans can catch two preseason games on FSD – Sept. 23 vs. Chicago and Sept. 24 vs. Pittsburgh.
Additionally, Fox Sports Detroit will carry all non-exclusive first-round playoff games for the Wings, provided the team qualifies for the postseason.
Ken Daniels and Mickey Redmond will be returning to the broadcast booth for the games, as well.
A total of 12 games will be national exclusive broadcasts for NBC or NBCSN.
