That goal Gustav Nyquist scored against the Ottawa Senators is the goal of the year.

You remember the goal – the one on Dec. 27 where he skated laps around the offensive zone before firing a shot through traffic and into the back of the net.

The NHL just posted its top ten goals of the year, and taking the No. 1 spot is Nyquist’s marathon session of puck possession while the Senators couldn’t stop him.
