UPDATE (6:40 p.m.) – The NHL has announced that Niklas Kronwall will face a one-game suspension for his hit in Game 6.
The Red Wings defenseman will miss tomorrow’s Game 7 in Tampa Bay, after his hit on Nikita Kucherov was deemed to be charging and a suspension-worthy offense.

The NHL’s department of player safety announced this morning that Detroit Red Wings defenseman Niklas Kronwall will have a hearing with the league later today.
The topic? His eligibility for tomorrow’s Game 7.
Kronwall administered one of his famous “Kronwalled” hits yesterday on Tampa Bay’s Nikita Kucherov just before the end of the second period.

What Lightning coach Jon Cooper said about the hit last night:
“To be honest, I didn’t see it. It was on that part of the ice that I didn’t see. The refs didn’t call a penalty, so it must have been OK.”
