On Thursday night, the Detroit Red Wings hosted their third annual ‘Wings For Wishes’ game at Joe Louis Arena, as the Original Six club supported Make-A-Wish Michigan during their game against the San Jose Sharks. The team raised more than $30,000 during the first two events, and with a mystery puck draw, T-shirt sales, and online fundraising, Thursday was a successful night for the Wings’ community relations department, despite the 6-4 loss on the ice.
