Austin Alger led Cranbrook Kingswood to a state title last weekend.

This weekend, he captured another prestigious high school award – Mr. Hockey.

The Cranes’ captain was named the 2015 recipient of the Mr. Hockey award, presented by the Michigan High School Hockey Coaches’ Association to the most outstanding player in the state.

Alger, a Miami RedHawks commit, led the Michigan Interscholastic Hockey League in scoring this year, racking up 27 goals and 37 assists for 64 points in 31 games.
