Following their Saturday night preseason game with the Boston Bruins, the Red Wings announced that they have reduced their NHL roster by six players, assigning three to Grand Rapids and releasing three from their tryouts.
The Wings’ roster now holds 49 players.
Players assigned to Grand Rapids:
- Marek Tvrdon
- Jared Coreau
- Jake Paterson
Players released from their tryouts:
- Tyler Barnes
- Nathan Paetsch
- Brennan Evans
