Eleven Michigan names on CCM/USA Hockey All-American Prospects Game roster

USA Hockey announced today the roster for their third annual CCM/USA Hockey All-American Prospects Game, set to take place in Buffalo on Sept. 25, 2014.

The game is designed to showcase the top NHL Draft-eligible prospects the U.S. has to offer.

Eleven Michigan names are featured on the roster of 42:

Goaltenders

  • Ryan Bednard – Macomb, Mich. – Johnstown Tomahawks (NAHL) – uncommitted
  • Ryan Larkin – Clarkston, Mich. – Michigan Warriors (NAHL) – Miami

Defensemen

  • Doug Blaisdell – Dearborn Heights, Mich. – Kitchener Rangers (OHL)
  • Nick Boka – Plymouth, Mich. – U.S. National Under-18 Team (USHL) – University of Michigan
  • Joseph Cecconi – Youngstown, N.Y. – Muskegon Lumberjacks – University of Michigan
  • Grant Gabriele – Brighton, Mich. – U.S. National Under-18 Team (USHL) – Western Michigan
  • Zach Werenski – Grosse Pointe, Mich. – University of Michigan (Big Ten)

Forwards

  • Kyle Connor – Shelby Township, Mich. – Youngstown Phantoms (USHL) – University of Michigan
