Here is a drill that I grew up doing with my goalie coach, just for the sole purpose of working on quickness and full-out explosiveness. Three stationary shooters should try to time each shot, so it is a difficult but savable shot. I try to make it fast to work on going from extension mode into recovering to the opposite side of the net. Also, I am more comfortable recovering to my feet between shots 2 and 3, but I tried some double knee shimmies this time since more goalies will probably use that method. Do this drill without much rest in between each set!
